Young mothers
The courses for birth preparation usually start from the seventh month of pregnancy. However, many women feel isolated and would appreciate having a support network available sooner in their pregnancy.
We offer a support group to meet their requirements in which they would be able to express themselves about pregnancy. This group also supports women who will give birth prematurely via pre-birth preparation courses.
- Meet and share their experience about giving birth
Whether giving birth to a baby was inexperienced in a positive or negative way, we think it is important for women to talk about his particular moment of their life. We offer this support group so they can talk freely or simply for them to come and meet with other mothers and exchange notes.
- Problems linked with the arrival of a child
If the arrival of a child is something most couples have desired, the reality of the first period is sometimes hard to deal with. A baby who wakes up at night and a rhythm of life structured in a new way,; even if they were informed about all these changes they may find it difficult to live with.
- Change of rhythm
For many women the move from working woman to housewife is not a change that takes place easily. Their daily life is upset and they find themselves at home with a crying baby without any « instructions for use ».
The support group allows them to meet other young mothers, share their experiences, talk about them, have a bit of space, They can share their fears, exchanges ideas, organise themselves, create relationships and networks so they can break the solitude and not feel isolated anymore.
